David Franklin

Received both his undergraduate and law degrees from McGill University and was awarded a United Nations Internship. He has been practicing law since 1960.

He teaches various law courses, including "Creditors Rights and  Bankruptcy", "Business Ethics", and "International Law", in the Faculty of Commerce, including MBA and Executive MBA Programs at Concordia University, Montreal.

He is co-author of the text entitled Introduction to Quebec Law and has written numerous articles on Canadian collection and bankruptcy law. He is an active member of the C.L.L.A., having been Chairman of the International Creditor's Rights Conference in both London and Amsterdam.

David Franklin has released International Commercial Debt Collection, published by Thomson, the first book of its kind, designed as a guide to debt collection in the global economy.

David has been a member of Rotary International since 1982 and was the Charter President of the Rotary Club of Old/Vieux Montreal, District 7040.
